We work with publishers to build a quality-controlled collection of open access books and provide services for publishers, libraries, and research funders in the areas of hosting, deposit, quality assurance, dissemination, and digital preservation.

Deposit
The Sydeck Deposit Service supports open access policies of research funders and practitioners (research institutions, universities and their libraries). The Deposit Service provides an institutional uploading service for researchers and publishers. The Sydeck Library is adapted to the specific demands for academic books, and deploys the metadata standards, classification schemes and distribution channels for academic books.
ILL and Acquisitions
Sydeck contains simple acquisition and interlibrary loans which allow you to keep track of any newly obtained items easily.
Circulation
Our circulation workflow can be modified to better suit a variety of different situations, in this regard it is configurable and expansive. We allow you to manage your patrons requests and loans with an easy to read UI. Use the custom dashboard to quickly get a summary of every job you need to accomplish.
